Happy Holidays!

Wow, we've come to the end of 2008. Time sure flies...I'm super excited to end the year. As I'm counting down on New Year's eve in the Bahamas with the cool sea breeze on my neck, I'll reflect on the things I've done this past year, the fleeting moments of happiness and moments of "Aha!"

This is what it feels like to have grown, to have learned and realize you are beginning to really see things for what they are and not have these young adolescent expectations of the world. I feel as though I'm maturing and growing into this woman, who almost parallels the woman I have always wanted to be.

Merry Christmas!

My very special gift was waiting for me under the tree this year...I'm thoroughly enjoying my Burberry wool cashmere trench coat =)

Next year will bring more good times, exceptional experiences, wonderful memories, and more blogposts!

Anyway, I'm off to the Bahamas!

My Life.

Change in Marital Status

The whole world doesn't know it yet, but long-time bf and I quietly tied the knot in a civil ceremony in Sin City in front of a select few friends and family. No, it wasn't a shotgun wedding much to the surprise of my in-laws...it wasn't something we had thought much about in the past, other than the fact that we would do it once we had established our bearings. It was more of a prelude to something greater to come....

Commencement Day

My impending graduation day...it finally came. I dreaded and was estatic and looking forward to this very important achievement in my life. Why dread it? Secretly, I enjoyed delaying the completion of my accounting program because it deferred the inevitable - real world. I guess I also had this hope that I would find something else more meaningful, which I did end up finding, just not in school.

Swimming w/ Bottlenose Dolphins

The mister and I took a mini holiday trip down south to Cabo San Lucas. My first time there...loved it, but hated the uber tourism organization feel of the place. People say Cabo currently reflect tourism in Hawaii 10-20 years ago.

Our favorite, favorite part of the trip was our swim with Miriam, the baby of the group at 5 years old.

My next trip down to Mehico will be to Cancun!
